Our paper room at MTPrint was in desperate need of replacement light fittings, we were forever replacing bulbs and finally when two of the motors went, one had smoke appearing from the fitting, which wasn't a good sign.
Desperate for a solution, Chris sent two electricians and after a very quick site survey they suggested instead of replacing like for like bulbs and fittings move to LED tubes which will cost a little more than halogen but will last longer and over time will save us money on our electricity bill.
Within five minutes Chris sent through a price, which was really competitive. From the go ahead his team went to buy the new fittings, removed the old and had the new ones installed without affecting production. The paper room looks completely different and has lots of light.
So now our printers can see what they're picking when looking for paper but they may have to wear sunglasses even though it's Winter.
I would gladly use Unique for future work and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Mr Mullholland was contracted to complete a design and complete a full electrical installation at our Stanningley climbing centre. The work completed involved a compete strip and re-fit of the entire electrical systems.
Mr Mullholland far exceeded our expectations, delivering a complete service and executing the re-fit to a very high standard. Mr Mullholland displayed a professionalism, which is all to rare in my experience and it was clear that it had a positive effect on the workers around him. Always arrived on site punctually and organised the workforce into an effective team. During the install Mr Mullholland was able to adapt to very difficult situations as they developed and I feel that without his input we would not have delivered the project on time.
To summarise; if I were in a similar position again I would not hesitate to offer Mr Mullholland the work.
I thought I would write this long overdue testimonial to reflect on how impressed we have been with your service to date.
Rewiring a property stuck in the 70's was never going to be easy especially as we had wires going everywhere, however, your methodical planning, systematic approach and impressive knowledge has meant we have ground floor electrics that are second to none.
Anne and I had lots of ideas how we would like things to work, however, the alternatives you have suggested, have really impressed us all of which have enhanced our living is credit to the service you offer. In fact i've lost count of the number of people I have mentioned our lighting set up too.
On top of that, your team have also been second to none, polite, courteous, always cleaning up after themselves and most importantly being there when they said they would.
As you know, we still have work to do and will certainly continue to use you, as well as refer you to any friends, family or businesses looking for a quality electrician.
Christopher has carried out various tasks for us with a great deal of responsibility; he has carried these out to exact specification and current standards. When given a task he carries this out in good time and leaves the site clean and tidy. He has a good understanding of health and safety and maintains a good safe working practice.
Christopher has worked on many installations for us including just a few of the following examples:
Installation of various central heating control systems both domestic and commercial
Installation of various fused spur supplies for CCTV and intruder alarm systems
Complete rewire of industrial units including many 3 phase distribution boards, isolators, connection of 3 phase machinery and high and low bay lighting.
Installation of fire detection systems including termination of mineral insulated cables and various fire proof cabling though out the system.
Connection of 2 post and 4 post car lifts in a workshop environment including the bending and forming of steel conduit and steel box trucking.
The above are only a few and I would not hesitate to give Christopher many more jobs for us as and when they come in. He has more than proved his competence and reliability and most importantly for us a good safe working practice.
